R.I.P. BIG FELIX
whilst on holiday big felix had to be re-admitted to the vet again .i spoke to the vet this morning and he has relapsed . i have made the decision to have big felix put down rather than go through the hole thing again .he is perky and purring and happy to see me .i am crying whilst writing this i have to wait until 3.30 to have him put asleep .i am now outside digging his grave and getting his procession ready . if any body that knew big felix wants to come along ,please do things will start at 4.00 ish
he was the best cat .

Unfortunately I am at work but big hugs being sent your way - we had to have one of our kitties put down the other week so I understand how it feels to lose a special pet.

I'm so sorry to hear this Bigmal. Wendell will also send his condolences, I'm sure. Try and take comfort in the fact that he's obviously been well-loved and looked after, had a lovely life, and is being prevented from any further pain.

That was very hard .
the vet sent big felix on his last adventure at 3.30 pm on the 05 sept 2007 .we had a hug and he bit me one last time .we buried him in a lovely spot in the garden with his favorite toys and his hat and some food .

big felix was a bad tempered cat
and he liked wearing hats
he liked to chase mice and appeared very nice
he would stretch out in the sun and show you his belly
demand to eat chicken every time i was in the kitchen
but you had to go to where the good kittys go
you are in no pain now
i did love you so

thank you everybody for your kind words . big felix has a lovely grave with flowers and his own headstone . lots of people in the coop cannot believe big felix has gone . i still feel like i want to check up on him and see if he`s hungry . sniff

I am so sorry to hear this. It must be the hardest decision to make Bigmal and a very brave one. I have one cat Shadow and I am dreading the day I lose him since he's such a stupid, but very loveable little idiot. I have no idea how you feel since it's so individual but can imagine that you'll have a gap in your life for while. Sounds trite but time will help to mend it. Look after yourself.
