Due to my impending new job we're calling Goo a day at the Junction and we're getting a bunch of our mates in to drink all the beer and have a fucking good night. Ian - it's my friend Alex putting this gig on. Though we've known about Tellison and been trying to book them for ages as the singer is at uni in Cambridge and drinks with us quite a lot of the time. Nice, and talented, bloke.
Georgie, you and DS would love Tellison. Really upbeat Jimmy Eat World/Get Up Kids/Stapleton sort of thing.

I for one will be more inclined to go to Goo if it was at the Graduate... I can walk home from there... plus it's NOT the Junction with it's horrendous drinks charges and the fat fake police = bouncers... walking around glaring at everyone. Puts me on edge.

horrendous drinks charges
£3.10 at the junction vs £3 in the portland for a pint of lager? For a night club that's not too bad. Also i think they do 4 cans for £10.
If the Graduate ever does clubs it'll have to have doormen. Licencing stipulates that sort of shit.

It may have been the shorts and mixers that made we wince last time... didn't know about the 4 cans thing... £2.50 a can is agreeable in a club environment.
We used ti have to have doormen at the Garage... but I'd always request the more human members of the crew!! A polite doormen who meets and greets is worth his weight in gold. People enter feeling "wanted" there. Being frisked and eyeballed as you enter a venue does nothing but wind the patrons up.
I should be at the Junction this Friday... all going well... then the half-dayer the day after... then it's a week of gigs... something will have to give but I am not missing DARTZ for anyone.
