Clare hails from Wellington, where she was Business Manager for BATS, the busiest little theatre in New Zealand. She has an Advanced Diploma in Performance Art from NASDA, and has been improvising for over ten years, mostly with the Wellington Improvisation Troupe (WIT) where she played her way up to trainer, coordinator and creative director. Clare draws her inspiration from the teachings of Keith Johnstone and various escaped alumni from Loose Moose Theatre.
