Very nice and popular free classified website mixed in with email lists.
Cambridge Freecycle
An email list for giving stuff away and/or finding stuff for free. High traffic list, but you can set it to 'digest' mode which is just super.

Free advertising for rooms/houses/to let/space in and around Cambridge.
