fun, clever and uplifting with a VENGEANCE!!! I will sell them anytime!!!
I so wasn't expecting what i got when i turned up at the Loft tonight. I found Joy! not just a smile, but a bunch of musicians and writers who offered uplifting, cheery and daring sounds, alongside with interesting texts; and such enthusiastic and quality energy! they had such pleasure sharing it that it made me feel privileged to be here and be a part of it.
So thank you guys! I'm still smiling...and now longing for more. xxx

Nice review : ) Saw them last week and they were indeed fun, enthusiastic and - dare I say it - pleasingly innocent. How come we're never at the same gigs Virginie? You can't avoid meeting me forever you know ;p

Thanks for the kind words, and for coming down :-)
I had lots of fun last night- I've said it loads of times but The Loft is brilliant. The bands were all really good as well- Matt Monroe was a genius, and Karmadillo were as great as usual- how did you get on at ARU Rishi?
The Thymes were a pleasant surprise- their guitarist had the best look I've ever seen. The only problem for me in the whole night was that I still can't see my guitar when I'm on stage. :-) I think I need to paint some flourescent dots on it (or actually learn to play).

I remember seeing Colonel Bastard at a Strawb Fair benefit at the POrtland, and indeed, they are bloody marvelous...

obviously not .... biatch!
It was a great night - The Loft gig was great (thanks guys for dragiing us into it!)- shame we had to get off stage and run - was difficult to drag James out of the Loft with so many adulating groupies...
The Cabaret thing was great but I think the acoustics in that room aren't great.
What time did you get you Bastards on stage in the end?

Indeed - apart from the Tymes and the opening cabaret guy doing Joe Satriani impressions I actually didn't get to see much other music. But both were good!
