Go to the Post Office, they won't take a percentage. You do have to count it up, though.

tescos bar hill do indeed have a coinstar machine. Its at the very far end of the checkouts, next to the passport photo machine.

I went to the main Post Office the other day and was told that I could change my pennies there and that I had to go into a bank! So went over the road to barclays and they were much more helpful.
