A Night of Dub, Punk & Ska with Radical Dance Faction + Buff Sat 25th March
LAST GANG IN TOWN present RADICAL DANCE FACTION (R.D.F)
R.D.F – Radical Dance Faction (R.D.F) were founded by Chris Bowsher in Hungerford in 1986 and were originally known as Military Surplus. R.D.F’s music combines punk, dub and ska while Chris’ lyrics, spoken rather than sung, deal mainly with political issues.
Legends on the UK free festival scene prior to the 1994 Criminal Justice Act, R.D.F were part of the crusty and anarcho punk movement until they called it a day in the late 1990s.
The band reformed in 2006, playing various festivals around the UK including Boomtown Fair, Glastonbury, Bearded Theory & Alchemy.

BUFF – These anarcho space punks have always delivered, live they nail it! After catching them at the Owl Sanctuary in Norwich last year we knew we had to get Buff to Cambridge!
The music has a dualistic quality with its feet on the ground and head in the cosmos searching for the mothership. A rock solid rhythm section, inventive guitar with just a hint of doom and conscious lyrics delivered with urgency all provide a solid foundation overlaid and punctuated with trippy electronics.
Comparisons aren't really appropriate but if forced, think of Culture Shock jamming with Hawkwind!
