The Blue Moon is horrible, the Portland is too up its own arse, the Swan is shite now, B-bam does not like the Dev, the Salisbury is nothing compared with what it used to be.

I like the Kingston. It's a bit like the Cambridge Blue, only less crowded. Of course, with regular WAN user numbers being what they currently are, there's always the Elm Tree.

I stopped going to the Kingston in winter because I could never get a seat and outside was too cold, but it's still a very good pub. They still had board games when I went there in the summer.
I usually go to the Live because the beer is good and you can ALWAYS get a table.

Got there about 2020 and chatted to a mate I hadn't seen for a few years. Went to the bar just before 2030 and got a drink and sat down. My special guest joined me about an hour later then we went for some grub. Twas a lovely evening. Thanks for suggesting it.
