Aldi is open

And it's a scrum-like nightmare.

Bargains galore though, as expected.

expect I won't be able to find anything without having to walk around the whole store for a while

It's not laid out vastly differently, and it's still aldi so all very predictable. It is very similar looking to the Ely Aldi if you ever made it there in the past 6 months, but infinitely busier.

Lets have more German beer from the German supermarket....
PROST!

The entrance road is no different though and is an accident waiting to happen (considering the increased traffic). Reduced bicycle posts to fuck all too

They need to move it to a more accessible area of Cambridge, like Mill Road for example.

What the inside of newly-opened supermarkets (and the inside of any supermarket on a Saturday or Sunday) look like...

I'm not familiar with Image339. Who's it by, Bosch?

It certainly looks like Bosch, but I couldn't find it here: http://www.hieronymus-bosch.org/the-complete-works.html

Clearly JT has a secret collection of undiscovered medieval paintings.

It certainly looks like Bosch, but I couldn't find it here...

...because it's actually by a chap called Pieter Brugel: http://www.visual-arts-cork.com/famous-paintings/mad-meg-dulle-griet.h...

Well spotted, Wrongfellow! It often appears online attributed to Bosch and I can see why - if I didn't know it was Bruegel, I'd have assumed it was Bosch.

I think it's a safe bet that old Piet had Hieronymus' http://www.hieronymus-bosch.org/105846/Hell-2-large.jpg in mind when he painted it.

Shudder the thought that they'd have an Aldi in the uniquely cosmopolitan Mill Road.... All those liberals had a right hissy fit about the Sainsbury's, and that has a higher demographic than the skimping Aldi.

Without the hoards of traffic on Saturday evening I saw some new bikeposts outside the front of Aldi so take back what I said about reducing space, though it's still an accident waiting to happen as there's just too much traffic for the one entry/exit road by the side of the petrol station.
