The station cycle park

What's the deal with it? I've never used it before. Is it easy to get parked?

Yes.

Can it be accessed from Dev road via cut through (under cycle bridge)?

Yes, you can get through that way. In fact they've put dedicated cycle path markings there.

It's tip top. Lovely to get back to a dry bike. Lovely not to have to negotiate the puddles and pot holes. However, (and this is my failing) I almost ALWAYS forget where I've parked my bike and spend ages wandering around convinced that it's been nicked...

The almost 360 turn at the new on ramp to the cycle bridge is a tad difficult to handle.
I assume the brilliant red cycle path will continue through the station car park to the new cycle-park.
What's confusing me is how, when the new station square opens up how you are meant to cycle to Devonshire Rd with out running over Sainsbury shoppers or taxi users

I used it while I went on holiday and was very happy to find it where I left it.

When I parked up last week I did see a woman who couldn't find out how to get her bike onto the second floor but I forgot to investigate when I got back. It can't be too difficult but I'm sure she walked all around the first floor before asking me.

I loved the dual access from street with the stairs to the station.

All in all, very impressive.

I wonder how they deal with abandoned bikes though.

Rob3rt - here's an idea. How about we see if we can organise a Red Hook-style alleycat crit in there? The ramp would make for an interesting technical section!

I say we devise a route that incorporates all multi-storey vehicular storage structures in Cambridge - always found Park Street a pleasant descent, but Grand Arcade, while offering more room is, on the whole, less fun...
