What's the venue.....?

I think the venue is going to be confirmed when they know how many people are likely to attend. They don't want to host it at, say, CB2 if they are expecting thousands to attend, nor do they want to host it on Parkers Peice if they are expecting a dozen.

I think this is going to be very popular though.

Location now confirmed: Ashcroft Building, Anglia Ruskin University, East Road CB1 1PT

is this like one of those Circada tests? can you find a place for Jeremy

I gather this has now moved out of England entirely due to over 100 million people wishing to attend it.

It does appear to be getting a bit silly.

funny you should mention that Wrongfellow, someone on the Cambridge News comments said Nuremburg might be available if they can arrange the searchlights

Breaking News: Over EIGHT BILLION people have now signed up to visit the Jeremy Corbyn rally in Cambridge.

This is larger than the population of the planet, prompting claims of "entryism".

Party leaders are frantically reviewing the list in an attempt to eliminate anyone who "does not support party ideals".

The man is clearly unelectable!

Now cancelled. Really quite annoyed. Whoever organised this has made a complete pigs ear of things

You can go and see Yyette Cooper instead. The FB even says that 41 are attending at the moment.

Did anyone else get invited to the short-lived "Jeremy Corbyn In Cambridge: PROTEST AGAINST THE FASCIST N.W.O. POLICE WHO ARE OPPRESSING THE COMMON MAN" event on Facebook (organised by a guy whose name looks suspiciously similar to the one in the Cambridge News article)?

(Postponed, cancelled. Meh.)

I did. I'm glad that that's not going ahead. Wouldn't have ended well.

Is this the first instance of the power of Facebook partly to blame for killing this event?

Blah blah looked at Yvette Cooper's policy page. Looks okay on the face of it, so why is it when her and the other political robots get in front of a camera or a mic are they unable to answer simple questions, when they have answers to quite complex questions? Something doesn't add up.

An Anagram of Yvette Cooper is: Ceep Vote Tory
Enough said.

Im my opinion, had the organisers kept it at ARU, implimented a ticketing system and accepted that some people would have been left outside then the event would still have gone ahead. Instead, like just about everything with this pathetic leadership campain, it fell foul of a "who can get the biggest crowd" sort of point proving. It is no surprise at all that the police objected to several thousands of people dropping in on Parkers Peice with two days notice, and I think it was perfectly reasonable of them to do so. I'm pleased that this hasn't turned into a "all coppers are bastards" sort of alternative protest.

I note that Corbyn has had successful rallies in other towns so it isn't to do with him.

We should slag off Andy Burnham and the other one too. Just for the sake of balance.

Andy Burnham

Don't know if this helps, Silent...

What's the name of the other woman....?

100:1 Liz Kendell (though I had to look her name up).

Most of these left their political ideals when they graduated from Oxford or Cambridge
