Essex Roads CC's first ever women's race, at East Hanningfield on Sunday. The winner was Hayley Simmonds, who as you probably know rides for Team Velosport (and is a Cambridge PhD student, and gave me a lift to the race). The rider leading the bunch in the photo is Fran Rust from Newmarket. :-)
