VOTE......FOR A UNITED KINGDOM....!!x

Hi all!x As I have said before...I consider this a forum for folk who consider stuff. i also know there are folk within Politics who visit too....I invited them init. This post I made on my FB. It is the only comment I have and will make re Politics. Out of courtesy and respect for you and your forum...I have copied it in here for your perusal...X

I sent a 'personal' letter to David Cameron...Ed Milliband...nice Nick and to Nige.
I titled it 'Provisions from Cambridge'. I will share the 'essence' of what I said.
800 years ago Henry 3rd was King. French 'stock' although born in England at Winchester. At the time the King had absolute power. However....the Barons...English ones who had co-operated/harmonised with the original French invader Bill the Conq....were unhappy at 'foreign' rule influencing Henry's approach to England. Eventually..this opposition after a few scuffles managed to get Henry to relinquish total power and a deal was done made by 12 reps from the King and 12 folk from the Barons. A document was drawn up and it was called 'The Provision of Oxford'...in 1258. Over the next year or so deliberations were had and eventually it was decided a place was needed to...as the French say...Parlez....'talk'....about England's future and have decisions made...by all. That word 'parlez'...became Parliament...talk for all.
There were further scuffles with Wales and Scotland to 'unite' the Kingdoms. It was achieved....after a lot of blood had been spilled Nationwide. that was 800 years ago. The City of Hull...my birthplace was built as a result of this 'co-operation' along with many other Towns and City's. Prosperity prevailed for the populace....and ultimately for the UK.
Last night I heard Ed Milliband say he won't 'parlez' with anyone. Yet I was at Inglistone the night of the vote to keep Scotland within the UK. He...Cameron...everyone in Parliament in authority PROMISED 'parlez' with Westminster and improved relations IF they stayed within the UK.
I say this...and said it to them all........UNITE....cut the personal agenda's and party preferences. The UK is in 'trouble'....BIG TIME. NOW is the time to re-commit to this Provision of Oxford. A hung Parliament is a defo...said it a year ago. Without 'unity' in Westminster...and without a pooling of the best Politicians available...irrelevant of their allegiance/interests....then 'Foreign' gaffas....not French....will....take the agenda. We as a United Kingdom...will not be in a position to deal with threats the WORLD is throwing up and at us. It is that serious...I believe. Check it out....not 1 Party...apart from UKIP...have said owt about beyond the UK......yet we will be shaped by World events...as Iraq and Afghanistan have proved. Not for the good...is it?
I have shared this view with 'profiled' and Political folk in Scotland...Wales...and Northern Ireland. NOBODY has disagreed with it. We need to unite...focus...and lay the foundation down for the next 800 years....or....we...as a 'respected thing'...are finished...I reckon.

Putin is pi**ing himself at how wussy we and the world are. ISIS are killing at will and heading this way. Some have arrived already...init. Parlez...talk...is cheap. It is time to provide ACTION....sez Sooty of Cambridge...without provision.
Vote for 'unity'....any peripheral party will achieve that I believe. None of them get my 'vote' as none of them offer in total what is required. But 'unite' them...and I believe we will have the resources to face the uncertainty we have ahead....with the best 'team' possible...whatever their persuasion. ISIS/Putin don't give a to** about the detail......I reckon. Oh...and when Greece goes....as i have said for 2 years....Europe will end as a 'thing'....ended already really just squirming in the death throw. That..is inevitable. We need to look within...and support that 'crew'...co-coalition...after all...we all speak English now 800 years later....with different twangs granted....but all can be understood...and respected...X
My view is based on trekking the Kingdoms as many of you see through this FB. It is based on over 3000 'chats' with folk in nooks and cranny's Nationwide. I don't do Politics. I just do. Consider it done...X Not playing games....are we?!x
