[Event Chat] - Murmuration - Live music, dance & spoken word

I saw this listed on Twitter, Kettle's Yard and Wysing websites, but it's listed as for young people. Is this an age limited event?

Related to the new KY exhibition on Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, and I'd heard that KY was closing for redevelopment so would be good to go, and it's free! This Saturday 8-10pm

It's been organised through their scheme for ages 15-25 so is not part of their main music programme. I would think it was open to all, judging by other ads I've seen.

Thanks. Of course I know what will happen. Saturday will come along, I'll do my usual thing and forget until it's on until already underway, as has happened with a couple of things I'd hope to go to recently at the Relevant Records Shop and Arts Picturehouse. Must be me age

If it makes you feel any better foolscap then I sometimes do the complete opposite - I go to an event, but leave the house far too early so I arrive outside at least half an hour before it actually opens. Then there's some technical problems and it starts well over an hour late, so I eventually decide that I'm fed up of waiting around on my own outside, I'm not THAT fussed, so I go home again.

Though since the baby has come along I've found I've forgotten about an awful lot of events that I might have gone to in the old days.

Oh, Kettles Yard is closing, but I think it is only the house. It will open again in a year or so. Must remember to go and visit it one more time before it goes.

They are reworking the gallery primarily and converting 4 and 5 Castle St (former restaurant/shops) to education spaces so it is both the gallery and house which will close.

This year's Castle Hill Open Day weekend is in June (Sat 20th) as this is the last weekend Kettle's Yard will be open until 2017.
