Chesterton neighborhood

In the coming days I'll be moving to Kendal Way.

Can you tell me if the area is safe? (I am a man)

I noticed you edited your post, has your gender changed to a man, or where you always one.
That street you've moved into is dangerous, once there was a massive fifty foot mint cake that came from outer space, it landed in the middle of the street flattening half the residents.

I edited my post because it was written in Italian.

I was a man before, I am a man now :-)

I guess something prompted asking this, maybe a search on Cambridge News for articles featuring Kendal Way?

From some of the articles Chesterton doesn't look very safe. However, most of the news are quite old.

Is it safe to go home at night by foot or by bus? Please, let me know more information about the area that include Kendal Way.

The whole of Cambridge is relatively safe really. Street fights/ attacks are extremely rare and tend to be confined to the centre of town on a Saturday night if at all, you are very safe in your house anywhere in the city in my opinion.

maybe he has the demo version of Straight Outta Compton, what was it called again.... all good in the hood.... Chesterton n da House ... nothing quite like a speed hump to mess up your aim on a driveby

We always used to know it as vandal way but that was the 90s. I think it had a couple of families that had never heard of not crapping on your own doorstep but not heard anything about for a long time now.

I'm afraid not. Chesterton is a hotspot of militant lesbian activity. All men are forbidden.

It used to have the most evil lollipop woman in Cambridge outside the Shirley school, but thankfully she was knocked down. The one they have now actually only comes out on the road when the green man appears. Still though I would like to add her stick to my collection.

"From some of the articles Chesterton doesn't look very safe"

There's "not very safe" and there's "Cambridge not very safe." Some people like to talk about Chesterton, The Arbury and King's Hedges as though they're Toxteth, Moss Side and the Gorbals at the height of their gang warfare days, but they're really not anything like that.

The only dangerous bit is anywhere near Bigmal. He'll claim it's his sporran spitting at you, but it isn't.

Hehehe

I remember once walking at night in the Arbury with another Glaswegian friend of mine called Pick Axe Pete, when some guy came up and said he did'nt recognise us and to watch out "cause this is Arbury". My how we laughed. He heard our accents and walked away pretty sharpish.

I hear the place is simply riddled with antisocial cycling.

Lived there for two years was mainly fine. Only had one incident in that time where some kids stoned my car one evening and the back window got smashed.

It was 2006! Time flies! Anyway, here's the original post:
