The bus tunnel plan, is at least slightly less mental than the monorail.
The reason why the buses get all snarled up is because of the number of cars in the way.
Rather than trashing the city centre, whilst building these costly tunnels surely it would make more sense to limit the number of cars in Cambridge.
Make P+R free, increase the number of sites.
Introduce a congestion charge, doubled for single drivers. (and married ones)
