OK, WAN hive-mind

Some people I'm loosely involved with need some sort of private, traffic-free, road-like circuit - go-kart tracks are the obvious choice, but renting one for a full day costs a fortune because they can make so much charging people for an hour's hire of a kart. Farm tracks or other private roads, provided they form a circuit and have a reasonably good hard surface would suffice. It has to be in East Anglia. The people who need it can pay, but not much - we're talking a couple of hundred at most, but they'd really, really appreciate it if it was cheaper.

Any ideas at all? If you've even heard rumours of a place that might fit the bill, they'd still like to know about it.

Oh, and by the way - it's not for a rave or anything like that.

When I was at school we all had a driving lesson. Since none of us had provisional licences we did it on a large concrete hard standing and driveway connected to a farm near Hadstock. I would conclude from this that it would also be suitable for whatever you want it for, plus the landowner is reasonably happy to rent it out (if a school can afford it then you probably can too).

I don't remember exactly where it was but it was definitely on the road connecting Linton and Hadstock.

NB this driving lesson was in 1993 so the farm might well be a new development of shit flats by now.
