Apart from the obvious, the things that annoy me about these self service checkouts are: they don't recognise anything but the store plastic bags (not very green), they stop if you want to buy anything with age check (I'd be happy to see Threshers back and supermarkets to stop selling EVERYTHING). Fruit and veg is generally cheaper on the Market, but try getting anywhere to lock your bike at the weekend in the centre of town.

What really fucks me off about the self service checkouts is that when you buy non alcoholic beer (0.01% alcohol) they make you prove your age and it's a right hassle. But when you buy Top Deck Lemonade Shandy or that posh ginger beer (0.5% alcohol) you can do it without proving your ID.

Consistancy please.

Anyone who is thinking "serves me right for buying non alcoholic beer". Try harder please. :P

The ones in Asda used to require age verification if you bought a copy of the Independent. No other papers, only that one.
