Paid (male) volunteers needed for medical training course

Hi everyone,

We're about to start a new round of recruitment for the male exam training course (see below for details)

The course has now been successfully running for over year and we are now looking to expand our team.

Feel free to email cta[at]medschl.cam.ac.uk if you wish to know more about the role.

Thanks

Sorry in advance for using this message board to advertise (once again) our call for volunteers. This time round, we are looking for male volunteers. Bring on the jokes, if you really must...

Are you comfortable with your own body?

Are you a man interested in men's health?

are you available for a few hours a week?

Join our innovative teaching project teaching students about the male examination and earn £33 per hour. Training will be given, for more info email cta[at]medschl[dot]cam[dot]ac[dot]uk

Hi Bigmal,

The use of the word 'volunteers' was a bit misleading as this is not a medical trial. We are recruiting men who will (be employed by the University and) trained to teach the male examination.

Successful applicants will be required to teach (a couple of hours every 2 weeks) throughout the year.

Do email me for more info if you wish to know more.

Would the allocation of those 2 hours be random? Or the same each time? Also, would they be 'out of hours' - in short, could I do this if I also had a full time job...

Hi Robert,

The actual teaching days would vary but it is very likely to be held in the evening, 6-8pm. We are still trying to fit this new teaching in the students' busy curriculum and evening sessions are always easier to schedule.
