1. Laney Hardcore Max HCM30B bass amp (£50)

- 30 Watts
- 10 Inch speaker with kickgrill and Metal corners.
- Equaliser controls
- Volume control
- Compressor
- Active and Passive inputs
- CD InputHeadphone Jack
- Can be connected to a bigger Amp/Cab if needed

In perfect condition. Great sounding, portable amplifier. I've been using it with my guitar. It's pretty versatile so can be used with other gear if you wish: SYNTHS/ KEYBOARDS/ MIXERS/ MICS/ DJ EQUIPMENT.

2. Marshall Valvestate 80v combo (£20, requires repair)

A two channel, 80 Watt, 1x12 combo with an ECC83 pre-amp valve in its Boost channel. It also features Contour, footswitchable Reverb, an Effects Loop plus a Clean/Crunch switch on the Normal channel and an OD1/0D2 option on the Boost. Thanks to its killer features, versatility and tone, the 8080 is currently a Marshall best seller.

Comes with the channel footswitch and handmade leather cover.

This is a reluctant sale. This amp has served me well. Sounds great.

Currently hums when switched on so requires some work to get it going again.

3. Zoom GFX-1 multi-effects pedal (£30)

34 built in effects, includes 5 Amp Models, 5 Types of Distortion, Acoustic Simulator

EFFECT-TYPES: COMPRESSOR, LIMITER, AUTO-WAH, PEDAL-BOOST, 4BAND-EQ, ZNR, COMBO, BRIGHT-COMBO, STACK, CHORUS, FLANGER, PHASE, DOUBLING, TREMOLO, STEP, CRY, RING-MOD, SLOW-ATTACK, PITCH-SHIFT, DELAY, ECHO, HALL-REVERB, ROOM-REVERB

Ability to use 9 effects and 8 modules simultaneously

The four foot switches on the top of the unit give you direct access to any four effect patches.

Also has built-in auto chromatic tuner and headphone output

4. Behringer SM-200 Slow Motion (£10)

Love this pedal but I have a multi-effect rack that does the same sound. It takes the attack away from your playing so is great for producing soft sounds and ambient swells etc.

5. Frontline wah-wah (free)

No idea if this works. Comes covered in stars.

Covering areas such as introductions, basic socialising and making requests, Italianissimo 1 is based on location recordings - and also features grammar explanations that follow a twin-track approach to meet different learner needs. This pack consists of the course book and four audio CDs in a presentation case.

8. Black rack tom drum (free)

9. Purple Mahalo Ukulele in Case (£10)

10. Behringer Super Fuzz SF-300 (£10)

This really is a super fuzz - great for your big muff tones etc.

11. Original Green Dr. Marten Boots. Size 7 (£20)

Not worn. Great condition.

12. Glockenspiel 25 note with carry bag (£15)

Black and white keys. As new.

13. Yamaha DD-6 Drum Machine with 4 pads (£20)

Toy drum machine with lots of 80s/90s drum sounds created by hitting the pads with a drum stick. Seems it's difficult to find one of these that isn't already circuit-bent.

14. Children's Real Accordian (£10)

Purple with silver butterflies. Like this one: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_61kdBjcOr3s/RyCunF6RzHI/AAAAAAAAAaE/7ldp4no4...

Correction item 11: The green DMs have been worn a few times, mostly around the house. They are in great condition but the tongues have scuffs from the laces (which you can't really see when they're on & laced up to the top).

Are you the Barney I think it is?

I might be interested in the boots. It is rare that these things come up which are actually in my size. Give me until after the weekend and I'll see if I decide that green is my colour.

Hi Rob, yes you're right - they're exactly the same boots as the ones in the first link you posted. I think they call it smooooth green - like a dark evergreen colour.

I'm not sure which Barney you think I am - there are a few! I did do a couple of gigs around Cambridge 2 years ago or so which you might have been to and I occasionally post the odd ad here and there searching for fellow shoegazer-type musicians, but to be honest I've lived a fairly concealed existence since due mainly to a PhD which I still haven't finished *sigh*.

No rush with the boots - let me know if you want to view and/or try them on...

You're not the one I'm thinking off. The one I'm thinking of is married to a previous ex wanner and notable figure in the Cambridge music scene. But that's OK of course.

I'll send you a PM after the Bank holiday. I might be interested in the Accordian too, let me ask my wife.

Ah, a 'notable figure' - definitely not me then, hah....

Hi there,

I know this is a long shot given that the post was made nearly three years ago but is the Frontline wah-wah still available?

Thanks

Joe

even more of a long shot since barneybrown hasn't visited this site in two years. DM might be a better option (assuming the email account is linked to here is still active)

Wish I'd bought the Accordian now. Think of the horrid noise I could have made with it!
