Chariots of Fire = Durham Ox.
I went in there twice. Both times Nye was really excited about the music that was playing and asked who it was. It was the same both times.

The Globe still exists, it's now called the Emperor.

The Master Mariner? It's now called "The Med" but i'm not entirely sure if it's still a pub or now a restaurant
and The Five Bells (Newmarket Road), unless it was called something else?

I noticed today that The Zebra has a sold sign.

It's a pub that desperately wanted to become a restaurant but failed, so now it's a pub that pretends it's a restaurant. The same locals are drinking the same beers they always did, but now they could have some pasta to go with it if they ever chose to do so. I don't think any of them ever have.

I see, didn't know what it was called when still a pub.

How the hell could I miss out The Merton??? One of the very best pubs in Cambridge. As for The Globe, the one which was on the conner of Newmarket Rd and Ditton Walk.

The Jubilee was great. So otherworldly that it was practically a portal to another dimension.
