Since velociraptors are a bit hard to come by these days, a cassowary.

A crow. Or possibly a ring-tailed lemur.

A cassowary with a chimp's brain, a ferret's teeth and a cat's claws.

A rabbit for ferrets to hmm play with

Out of those three, I'd probably choose Jools.

Have to agree with OR. This bunga bunga parties would make a mess on the living room carpet

Our little darlings have totally ruined our carpet with chewing, scratching, poohing

Published by lucysferrets at 3:15pm on Wed 9th November 2011.

Can't you just skin them and make a new carpet?

Published by splattergrabs at 5:01pm on Wed 9th November 2011.

I wouldn't fancy our chances if we tried.

and that would be the end to TJ amusing ferret anecdotes such as ferrets helping with puncture repair. Well it made me laugh, although not out loud

It'd probably make a lot more sense to get the ferrets to hunt something else that could be used to make floor covering. Dogs, cows, something like that.

Pine trees?

It's almost the right time of year.

Not enough left of a pine tree once Yentl's finished with it.

I keep getting tempted to try to catch one of the wild tortoises here. They must be the ultimate low-maintainance pets. But, you know what they say - a tortoise is for life, and then someone else's life...

Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks a capybara would be a great pet!
A cat that chooses me like the current one did.
Wandering round the cat pens at Heydon Wood Green I went to scratch one cat behind the ear and he promptly climbed up and sat on my shoulder so I took him home and 10 years later that is still his preferred place :-)
