What do you mean by cell batteries? A battery is made up of cells...Do you mean the sort you use for watches?

not all button cell batteries are created equal... many of the cheap Chinese knock offs use inferior separator materials...
some brands like TIAN QUI are prone to rapid discharge and are known to be poor. use respected brands.

good brand.
My sister bought some TIAN QUI off ebay and her boyfriend (electronics engineering lecturer at Manchester Uni) cut some of ones that went flat very quickly open and compared the separator material and the zinc anode and cathode with a Sony button cell innards and found them completely different in content and quality... chalk and cheese...
