Best New Cambridge Band: While I haven't seen them live in a long time, The Last Dinosaur's debut album came out this year and it's genuinely wonderful (endless blog coverage has been fawning and even got 4 stars in Uncut...). Still haven't seen The Static Front, and need to.

Event of the Year: Holiday in Iceland. Beautiful country.
