Please stop the spamming and stick to one thread please, you really aren't winning any friends/more importantly potential custom like this.

and stop flyposting too before you get the venues into trouble. If i find another big poster stuck up on clifton road as i walk into work i'll be quite annoyed

I remember the Junction got busted for this by the Council because of one of their events (this is back in the dark ages when I worked there) they got a slap on the wrist and told that after that if any other posters were found then Junction would get fined £1000 per poster which seemed a bit excessive!

there arent any posters up on clifton road, i deal with the council directly not through the venues, if there is a problem,
students and our staff do all our promotion, too busy to do it myself but note your comments with interest and will deal with this if neccesary.
the fly poster is the one that gets fined usually
the fine for venues is £2000, and if any of our promotion team are fly posting i will cut off their hands for you

Dear danBIGHQ

Thank you for your PM, I'll reply here thank you. No, I do not own this site, however I like to think of it as, by reason of it being a 'community resource', party mine. In the last few weeks the EXACT SAME EVENT has been posted tens of times on this site. This appears to be because you have a team of people doing promotion, each of whom does not seem to know what the others are doing. My reply above merely suggested that this approach of spamming the board is getting tiresome. Perhaps this is honestly a human oversight, but please, now it has been brought to your attention think about maybe only getting one person to cover this site.

Whether I'd have wanted to go to this event or not, now when I see a post I, personally, get a negative pavlovian response. Probably not the kind of reaction you are hoping to create.

Anyhow, thanks a bunch,

Lozzy

Thanks for this matey but my intentions were to find out who the site is owned by and the way you worded it i thought it was you....
as you can imagine there are a lot of sites and most of those employed do the websites from home etc.
ive changed my password so its sorted and cant be accessed by the others so hope you are happy with this.
we dont mean to offend, at the end of the day they are doing their job, remember some of them are only 18 and want to get in for free!
feel free to come along to some of our events and you can see what a nice bunch they are, if sometimes a little over zealous......
danny
