There is a distinct pie shaped hole in cambridge (assuming we're talking hot pies and not pork pie) I think the deli place opposite the post office might do ones you can cook yourself.

The best pork pie I've had in Cambridge was from the butcher in the market.

The Cambridge Cheese Company also do good pork pies, or at least they do during the beer fest. yummy.

I saw a block of Emmental on Friday in there that looked divine... I'm sure there were pork pies too... although I don't eat pork pies. I get the Porkless pies from Holland & Barrat...

Being a vegeterian the only thing I miss eating are pork pies. I like the dubious pink meat, the weird jelly stuff, the gap of 1/8 inch between the greasy heavy pastry and the meat plus the thick white paper they come in. They were satisfying in a way that anything good for you could only dream of being.

We should start a petition for pieminister to come to Cambridge. Anyone who goes to SGP should know what i mean!

Ooooh I used to love pork pies too, until I became a vegetarian...

Just to clarify. Although the pork pies sold at the Beer Fest are from the same supplier as those sold at the Cambridge Cheese Company, the Cheese stall at the Beer Fest is run by CAMRA. Just thought I would clear that up as my friend is about to go into orbit!

Thanks!
