No doubt this will cause the resident indie Stasi on here to spit their tea out but just to say that The Enemy were awesome on Saturday, would definately recommend seeing them........

In hindsight perhaps 'awesome' is a bit OTT but they were very good and alot better than I was expecting considering they are only about 13!

Watching the Enemy reminds me of when a five year old bursts out singing the Teletubbies theme at the top of their voice in the middle of a crowded street complete with dance steps. The childs mother looks a bit worried and embarressed and tries in vain to make the child be quiet while forcing a delighted grin on her face.
You're not quite sure if you find it cute, funny or plain irritating.
The Enemy are a cheap knock-off of every second hand punk-influenced band from The Ordinary Boys to Northern Uproar, but they do it with so much enthusiasm you almost don't notice.
