I couldn't stay up and watch it... indeed it is one of the classic horror films of the 50's.
I may have to se if it's been released on DVD... one to own.
Not to be confused with a 1970's film of the same name which has a Sasquatch monster ripping the penis off a peeing biker, ripping out intestines and throwing them around a cabin... some land on the frying pan and start cooking. It was banned in the early 1980s by Thatcher's Nazi party but has probably resurfaced.

well i stayed up to watch it , and i must say it is the worse film ive ever seen , i turned it off after that sock puppet came to kill the baldy moush from out the woods.

It's a classic... the tension and fear builds up through the film and the scene on the railway tracks at the end is fantastic.
