This new Pub Goo thing then

whats it all about ?

A sort of half club that finishes at midnight so people can get up and have a dance if they want to well yeah ???????? As well as sitting down and having a beer ?

Do you think this is going to take off? I went to Goo to see Victorian English Gentlemans Club at the Junction and it was crap and near empty

That was 'near empty' in the Junction though, in the Graduate it would mean 'nearly full'.

You didn't go to Foals or Jack Penate though did you?

THL's right though. We had 350 in at the Club Goo in question which would have left you standing outside in the cold in the Graduate, as it is only little :-)

See you tomorrow at Foals then :-)

p.s yes, there will be djs playing indie in the gig room (the bit you pay to get into), as well as bands, with Church of Noise supplying the rock in the main bar, which you don't have to pay to get into.

Foals at the Junction was immense. Can't wait to see them on Saturday.
Any sneak peaks at the pub goo line ups to follow as I can't make next weeks. :(

This is 'The Graduate' with a Staples across the street, right? So whatever the lineup, it's sort of win-win.

And if you don't like it then there's the wonders of the Portland or the Boat House too. I might have said this before, but Mitcham's Corner rules...

I like Mitchams corner. The butchers isn't as good as Northrops, but it specialises in game as far as I recall.

InsouciantD are you coming out to any shows next weekend?

*pokes head in*

The butcher on Mitchams corner sells very nice Newmarket sausages.

As you were.

I don't know about shows, but I'm usually at Staples between 8 'til whenever on Saturday nights. Have you seen what binder clips can do after a few beers?

Actually, I think we're going to try to make it over to the Graduate tomorrow night. I'm tired of hanging out with MBA students.

Published by InsouciantD at 11:03am on Fri 28th September 2007.

Cool. I'll be at the Graduate after the Foals show at the Soul Tree.

Published by simon_b (not active) at 11:12am on Fri 28th September 2007.

Hmm, I like what I hear from the Foals thing on MySpace. If I could only spend my tragically fixed income at one show, which would you recommend? (Please take into account drink prices and proximity of stage to toilets).

Published by InsouciantD at 11:19am on Fri 28th September 2007.

Hrmmm it's a toughie. Pony Collaboration will be very good. I'd go with that.

Published by simon_b (not active) at 11:20am on Fri 28th September 2007.

Toilets at the Grad are nicer and the drinks are loads cheaper. Foals are ace though (but then it finishes early).

Published by kirstym at 11:48am on Fri 28th September 2007.

Who is supporting Foals?

I don't know that they're nice, they're just nicer than the Soul Tree's, which are usually horrific...

It's settled then. I'll see everyone in the Graduate toilets tomorrow night.

Published by InsouciantD at 12:24pm on Fri 28th September 2007.

YES, NO LOO ROLL ALL NIGHT! The toilets are nicer than the soul tree but that's really not saying much.

Published by lozzy at 12:25pm on Fri 28th September 2007.

Re: the loo-roll deficit, you do realize there's a Staples right across the street!
