I was told that I shouldn't go on holiday this afternoon by hospital. ;( In a way I am ok with this as I feel totally crappy and a trip downstairs to my telly seems to make me feel crappier nevermind two taxi journeys, an overnight train and a helicopter to the Scilly Isles. But I need a break for God's sake.
They want to see me again tomorrow and I'm trying to persuade them that I could go on Sunday since that's the next day the sleeper runs. I need lots of WAN happy and wellness vibes, I have GOT to get better. And someone needs to invent teleporting to make it easier to get anywhere.

Oh no :( could you maybe postpone the holiday for a couple of months time? or early next year? Something to look forward to is really useful. Get well soon!
I agree with the teleporting thing .. I often wish for it when I am falling asleep in a pub and need to be transported to my bed .. damn late licensing!

unfortunately, the place we're staying in isn't free again until October next year - how stupid is that?! The nice man at the railway said he wouldn't charge us for changing our ticket if I call him tomorrow, I think it's my breathless moaning that did it, being sick is useful sometimes!
