Lost my cat

Please help - we've lost a thai cat from John St on Saturday night. He's almost silver/grey with green eyes. I'd be really grateful if you'd keep an eye out and check sheds and gardens to see if he's stuck. His name is cefer - he's pretty slim. There's a chip in his neck so if you can take him to a vet for barcode screening or call 07802 357710 if you see him we'd be so grateful. We'd do the same for you.

Juliette,

I saw your wanted poster on the Lamppost yesterday but was in a rush, I'll have a proper check of our back garden tonight but there's nowhere much to hide, I hope he turns up.

it's not the size of your magnanimity that matters.

Quality, not quantity. It's where you put it that counts!

Yup - can we concentrate on the cat? please?

Yes, everybody, Juliette's lost a cat, and she'll never find it if people insist on posting rubbish to message boards.

Won't anyone think of the kittens?

Sorry to hear about your cat Juliette and Lawrence. Have you called vets in the area, contacted RSPCA and the Blue Cross? It might help to put a photo on the thread if you have one and see if any shops near you can display your notice too and put copies through people's doors.

I hope you find him soon.

Thanks - we've done most of those things. I'm actually in the US - Laurence is doing all the leg work poor chap. Leaflet drop happening as we speak - we already did a couple of streets but seems like he's gone further. You are so kind to be concerned - thank you. I'm amazed at how traumatic this is - decided to strap a mobile phone to him if we get him back! can keep him on GPS! (just kidding)

I hope we find him soon too - If he comes back I'll be sure to tell you all.

Best regards

J

See what happens in the morning, if people are getting a leaflet shoved in their door then they ought to go and take a look outside either this evening or in the morning. My cat ended up getting locked in a shed overnight (hummmm our shed, I still blame husband!) and you must be very worried, especially if you're away from home. Cats are hardy creatures though and he does have a microchip which is really positive.

Have you posted on the cambridge news message board too? Before I get shot for bringing the CEN into this, it's an emergency situation!
