The Automatic lose irritating selling point

I don't like what he does, but he was the only thing that was unique about them...

He was soooo annoying... not a huge fan of that band but his squawky yelping just made me hate them. He just looked like an attention seeking prat.

There was a London bands a few years back called JERRY BUILT who had an annoying keyboard player, he'd run out into the crowd and be a dick... used to stink of really bad B.O. too.

Keyboard players - sit down and shut the fuck up unless you can sing.

I saw the singer for the first time in years at the Wiz tribute last Winter... really cool guy. "Receivers" is the top pop number isn't it?

i saw Automatic at Corn Exchange, they were OK, good light show etc, but really all songs sounded same, Monster and Raol were good, downhill after they were out of way.
Most gigs i leave feeling that was great, but they never went beyond OK

He was the only thing vaguely worth watching when I saw them. The rest of the band sat huddled on the apex of of Mt. Bland.

Saw the Automatic play at the Corn Exchange roughly about a year ago. Wish I hadnt bothered . The Alterkicks were the best band that night and they were on first followed ny Mumm-ra.
So the Automatic to make their 2nd and final album before fading into black ? The NME will give it a 7 out of 10 in the interests of charity and it will stay in the charts for a week. I didnt have too much of a problem with Pennie. He reminded me of a 12 year old version of Bez that had drunk too much Pepsi.

Actually that Corn Exchange gig was the first time i realised I was old-

Moaning about the 14 year olds that were in there to my friends on the way out (Blush)
