'their money is safer than anyone elses.' you reckon? they said about that lloyds back in the day and look what happened then. also, alliance & leicester, HSBO & Barclays shares all taken a tumble. Quick! Let's all panic and stand around outside these banks in Cambridge in the vain hope we won't look like twats on tv! Come on! Who's with me? :)

They're shutting branches and not letting people take their money out now. Maybe he who panics earliest is the most wise in this situation?
By the way - they won't forget about overdrafts/loans as easily as savings. When a bank goes bust the loans are carefully transferred to another bank!
