Blimey - yes - bit out of the blue indeed.

Oh.. That is sad news.

Her poor family, how awful.

I knew she had Hep C, but it's not clear from that report whether the brain haemmorage was as a result of that, or unrelated. Sad.

Her lists of achievements in the obits is pretty overwhelming. Hadn't realised she co-founded the Big Issue too.

She was the first to introduce socially and environmentally responsible business onto the High Street

Environmentally responsible? That's ridiculous.

One only has to walk past the door of a Body Shop to become painfully, uncomfortably aware of the vast quantities of noxious, eye-watering chemicals that they release into the environment.

It beats me how anyone can step through the door of a Body Shop without immediately choking to death on the Bhopal-esque fumes.

You obviously haven't been near a Lush shop wrongfellow:-)

The smell of Body Shop White Musk always reminds me of parties I went to when I was a teenager - heady memories of sexual tension!!

Eek! I still wear that.

Oo-er Jude - yes you had better!!

Actually, thinking about the said parties has made me think of some people who haven't crossed my mind for years - where are they now I wonder? Some of them must be still lurking around Cambridge.
