Pin Up Girls

So whats peoples opinions....

Do you guys think pin Up girls from the 40's and 50's were more glamourous than the ones of today? e.g. your Katie Prices et al.

I by far prefer the pin up girls of yester year....

what got me thinking was in the sun the other day they were promoting a new console game and had one their page 3 models dressed up in 40's clobber, she looked ten times better than she has ever done on the front pages of the paper....

so i was wondering your guys views?

I reckon it's because pin-up girls in the 30s/40s had more clothes which left a bit more to the imagination and didn't just get their boobs out in tabloid papers every day.

Most of the pin-up photos I've seen, the girls either looked genuinely sexy or like they were having fun. pin-up girls tend to look natural and human. I've shamelessly ogled a few Page 3 girls of recent weeks (what? not my fault if my colleagues leave their tabloid rags in the staffroom...) and they've got lovely bodies but their faces look like they've been carved out of a block of St Tropez-coloured plastic. And they all do that identical 'sexy' glare/pout expression that just makes them look like they're constipated and really pissed off about it.
