Madeline

Peoples thoughts,

Just been on sky news the mum is expected to be charged with accidental death.

If this does turn out the case, look back at all the money has been donated by the british public, they met the pope, various PR campaigns by stars/footballers.

Its all a bit crazy isnt it.

Thandor is wise, but you must have a snap judgement, we all do

I'm still trying my hardest not to have an opinion on this whole thing. And largely succeeding thus far.

Published by crushingdeath at 2:17pm on Fri 7th September 2007.

Whatever happened I feel sympathy for the parents and for her.

Thats about the only opinion I have...

ok heres my opinion and cynical view.... Madeline is dead, however she died the parents either have something to do with it or know a lot more than they are letting on.

If they did have an involvement, what better way to take the heat off yourself than start a missing persons campaign, whilst the spotlight is take off you, you have time to consider your options, do u ride it out however long it takes to the point where the police say she is gone and they cant find her.

The police have been working with the Britsh counterparts, they would not make any move unless they ahd some hard evidence.

Look back at another case closer to home, was there ever an whisper that the parents would be question on the missing/death of the children.

Its a hard thing for people to talk about and i hope my opinion is completely flawed and im completely wrong.

I don't know how it works where they are, but i still believe in innocent til proven guilty.

Thandor thats precisely my point, if you were to leave teh country quickly that would put more heat on you wouldnt it?

Published by MJAllstar at 2:23pm on Fri 7th September 2007.

I bet Thandor could sort this out without breaking a sweat if he was alowwed to use his 'methods'

Published by JazzRTC at 2:28pm on Fri 7th September 2007.

Thandor - I'm with you on this one I think. If they were involved, the level of sicko-ness required to pull off the last few months is beyond Dr Rhythm's comprehension.

Published by Dr Rhythm at 2:31pm on Fri 7th September 2007.

I'm not going to even try and guess what happened, but the evil part of me would be a little bit gleeful if it does turn out to be the parents, due to the huge outrage it will cause after this utterly ridiculous worldwide campaign to find her. All those morons telling you to keep an eye out for her on your local streets - might make them realise how stupid they were.

Reading bit in paper the other day about the neighbour who was/is a suspect.

whatever the outcome his reputation is shot, That strange man who was too helpful, still lives with his mum and was suspected of killing the little girl, was business associate of a known pedo etc.

My thoughts on this aren't related to the case specifically, more to the reporting of it. All those people who shout "there's no smoke without fire!" (surely the worst phrase in the English language) everytime someone is arrested for even the barest hint of dodgy activity should be shouting now. Where are they?

Actually I have some further thoughts on this. It'd take a strong marriage to survive this, and she is surely the most good looking suspect for some time. Is that wrong?

The new evidence that has presented itself is interesting - Madelines blood found in a hire car rented by the parents 25 days *after* the disappearance....and thats according to British forensics.

Seems weird though - how would they have hidden her for 25 days?

Published by katemac at 3:06pm on Fri 7th September 2007.

yeah. Of course, if there was blood in the apartment that would be plausible as a story, but do they claim she was snatched? So no blood in the apartment? There could be lots of innocent explanations.

How about this- throw her in the lake and see if she floats?

Hide her in a cupboard with all the other childrens dolls. Worked in ET.

Dear oh Dear. Well if the parents have played a part then maybe this will teach the media not to give such folk VIP treatment just because they are well to do Doctors and not Mr and Mrs Slob from Rundown Estate

well at least no one has asked us to put an angel for maddy on our computer . mind you that must have given so much hope and faith to the Mccanns to know that people were sending an extremely cheesy looking angel in honour of their little girl around the work places of britain .
back to the original doodaa, indeed the mother being accused could be the editor of THE DAILY EXPRESS ploy looking to sell more papers.you can imagine the banner -WE ALWAYS KNEW IT WAS THEM .
