Weird tinternet security thing

You know the little padlock that you see when you're on a secure site? Well, when I'm using Firefox, today, every 'secure' site I've gone into has had that red line through the padlock, implying the page isn't secure like it should be. However, if I go into the same sites using Internet Explorer, the padlock is properly in place.

Should I be concerned?

Is anyone else having this?

If you're running explorer:

View Menu -> Status bar

Should bring it back

Jac - my niece once poked a few buttons on our Vid/DVD player, and from that time onward it never worked quite properly again.

Nieces = menaces to technology.
