Right, that's it. I've had enough. Barryella Scott is dead.

It is so.

The end.

RIP

In her short but active life, she brought...[16 pages of script deleted here on grounds of space]...so let us enjoy the memories while at the same time moving forward in the way she would surely have wanted.

I hope she returns under a new name... :(

I'll never understand the practice of posting a thread on a message board to say you'll not be making anymore posts. Why not just stop posting. It's like telling someone that your not speaking to them.

Did anyone watch the programme about the people who were made to live on a rubbish dump for 4 weeks? There was one woman who reminded me of bazza.

Adios Bazza, rest assured I will still be using Clit Bang in your memory.

For some reason we had it on last night with the sound off, when friends were round. It was even more confusing catching occasional glimpses of it, without really knowing what was going on!

thrust the contestants noses in a 3 weeks worth of decaying household matter and yell "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE! THIS IS YOUR SHIT! EAT YOUR SHIT! EAT IT!!!!! THEN MAKE A HOUSE WITH IT!!!!!" with a few cut-scenes of bewildered contestants going "wow, i never knew there was so much shit, it's really amazing how much shit there is".

So, in terms of symbolism, much the same as Big Brother or any other such 'reality TV show' then?

It was the woman who thought she was really eco-friendly despite owning a 3.2l jeep that made me chuckle.

There were about three contestents who appeared to think that this was their ticket to A-list celebrity. And I kept wondering where the rats were. I didn't watch much though so they might have been mentioned.

"I hope she returns under a new name..."

I gather there are many people on here who've done the same. As a fairly casual user of WAN it confuses me no end. At the recent WAN meet in The Cambridge Blue, I felt that I spent more time asking people not who they are, but who they have been. Which to those users 'in the know' probably made me look pretty dense.

Your attention please - I have been asked to make public the following message:

Issued by Barryella Scott's alter ego:

"Barryella Scott, also known as bazza, took the decision to remove herself from the virtual realms of WAN for a number of reasons, the central one being that after an extended sabbatical away from WAN this spring, she found herself more recently being drawn back in to the quotidian banality that is WAN. Having found inner peace and harmony, including a significant increase in production levels during the said sabbatical, Barryella Scott was keen to maintain a safe distance from the WAN whirlpool of wittering. The decision to remove herself permanently was indeed an impetuous one, but not in any sense fuelled by inebriation, and by going public about it, was intended to assist in enforcing the move in staying away and concentrating on more edifying experiences that life has to offer".

(By the way, does anyone know what "quotidian" means?)

"daily" innit?
