I'm really looking forward to this. It's going to be a really entertaining show. Lyrically he's really funny and, despite the Anti-folk tag, he's not Anti-tune...

Apparantaly I'm really funny too, just not for the right reasons....

Shame. When are you in Cambridge then? Just for the weekend?

Quick reminder about this. Should be a corker.

Just doing some myspace / youtube listening atm. Nick would excitedly like to know if he's bringing his band? With particular reference to the drummer wot used to be in Television.

Kick off time? Would we be okay getting there 8.30, although it says 8 on the event description?

this was jolly good, extra points to the fellow for not appearing to giving a toss that it was a bit quiet.. good man.

I enjoyed this too... his song about a girl called "Mia" would have been an absolute comedy classic moment if Mia had been there...

That was a very nice chilled Monday evening out... kicked off the week superbly...

Great stuff. I just bloody KNEW he was going to ask me next for a subject for a song though, and couldn't think of anything less lame than "Cambridge" nonetheless. Sorry :-( That song he did about Ambition (the first one that blokey sitting on the floor suggested from his CD) was brilliant.

He was fabulous!
I love stuff like that - I couldn't stop giggling the whole way through! Bought his latest CD as well........"come and buy my CDs - they're cheap American prices"......so off I wonder to the stage where his CDs were and then he was like £10 okay? I stuttered a bit and then didn't have to heart to haggle......glad I got one though! ;-p

Oh and Jazz - you only forgot your words a couple of times.... ;-) Good stuff.

bollocks, i would have come to this. I played with Lach once in salisbury, and he had the most amazing filler for when he broke a string. he'd be good even without songs i thought.
