The last thing I had was the Birdseye Potato Waffles jingle on Tuesday.

"Grill 'em, bake 'em, fry 'em, eat 'em
Birdseye Potato Waffles, they're waffley versatile"

I hate my life.

Does this ring any bells for anyone:

'A is for Alpha, B is for Bites, crisp golden potato, all fluffy and light...'

:-)

I have D.A.N.C.E. by Justice stuck in my head. There are only so many times your brain can replay "do the D.A.N.C.E, 12345" without contemplating digging your own ears out with a spoon.

as usual it's the last song that was on the radio before I left the house, which was annoyingly Vertigo, but for some reason it keeps morphing into Barbarism Begins At Home in my head

Found an old, old, old sampler CD from XFM, been playing Curbed by Downer on repeat until I can still hear it when it's all quiet.

Speaking of which I'm sure someone was telling me about a sponsored "listen to a song on repeat". This guy apparently decided to do it listening to ONE song for TEN HOURS and that song had to be the worst one ever. He deemed this to be Return of the Mack by Mark Morrison. That for 10 hours certainly sounds like one of Dante's levels of hell.

Published by BloodRap Movement at 10:28am on Thu 30th August 2007.

I can think of worse songs than that (Mariah Carey screeching away for starters), but I think anything for 10 hours solid would become your worst song ever...

I've got an image of the guy who did the sponsored Mack-a-thon hearing Return of the Mack on the radio randomly and going apeshit like Alex in Clockwork Orange when he heard the Beethoven piece.

Hehe :D

I had D.A.N.C.E. in my head for about 3 months straight earlier in the summer. I do like that song a lot.

Do the D.A.N.C.E.
1-2-3-4-5
Stick to the B.E.A.T.
Get ready to ignite
You were such a P.Y.T.
Catching all the lights
Just easy as A-B-C
That's how we make it right

OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

Waffly versatile, hehehe.

I've got that REALLY FUCKING IRRITATING Reverend and the Makers monstrosity in my head, thanks a bloody lot, 6 Music! Gah!

Dartz?? I've no idea who or what they are - but I do remember Darts, the pop/rockabilly type band from the 70s ("Daddy Cool", "Come Back My Love").

Published by Kuryakin at 10:59am on Thu 30th August 2007.

Someone told me once that Darts' drummer was an inmate at a mental hospital, and they had to go and pick him up from the asylum every time they had a gig and take him back afterwards. Anyone with a better Darts knowledge than me confirm this?
