A decidedly more appropriate setting for them this time at the Portland. Small, sweaty and intimate rather than cavernous. Their last Portland gig was a thing of beauty.

They are one of the best bands in the country rightaboutnow. And I'm gonna be in London, which is a lukewarm mug of piss. I would advise that people go and stuff.

I shall be in London supporting a band described as "energetic jazz funk". However I recommend you check out the new Portland beer garden. Its got a pool table and a roof.

They're coming back in December for Pub Goo at the Portland :0) VEGC, The Resistance and one other TBC. DJs in the main bar, bands in the back room. It's going to rule...
