Durham School of the Arts is a school like no other. It is more than just an academic institution: it gives its students an education focused on the visual and performing arts. They learn everything from classical and modern music to drama, dance, theatre management and technology, film, photography, art, sculpture and creative writing.
Now, for the first time, the school’s choir is visiting the UK and will be performing at St Philip’s Church, Mill Road, Cambridge on Tuesday 26th March, raising funds to support the church’s Youth Centre.
Their vibrant and colourful programme will include classical choral pieces, folk songs and traditional African American spirituals.
Entrance to the concert is free, but there will be a retiring collection in aid of St Philip’s Youth Centre activities. Just come along for a fantastic evening!
