In this public talk, members of Extinction Rebellion Cambridge will share the latest climate science on where our planet is heading, discuss some of the current psychology around climate change denial and offer solutions through the study of social movements.
This talk is based upon award winning PhD research on effective campaign mobilisation, and experience which so far has led Kings College University London, Cardiff University and Bristol University to agree to divest from fossil fuels.
Everyone is welcome. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and you'll hear about to join the Extinction Rebellion movement.
Arrive from 1.40pm for 2pm start of talk.
The talk will be in the Lower Hall at St Paul's, it is wheelchair accessible and there is a wheelchair accessible toilet on site.

This is an emergency. The deadly heatwave that gripped the world over the summer is only a glimpse of what is to come if we do not properly address the crisis.
