Saturday 28 September at 7.30 pm at Great St. Mary's, Cambridge
We have a wonderful concert with Chloë Hanslip, international violist playing the exquisite Mozart Violin concerto No. 3 " Hanslip plays with a compelling suppleness of dynamic, phrasing and senza-vibrato purity" The Strad, June 2018.
We are delighted that Chloë is returning to play for the third time with the Academy of Great St. Mary’s, a rare opportunity to hear such a distinguished violinist playing in Cambridge. Chloë Hanslip (b. 1987) is prodigiously talented, making her BBC Proms debut at fourteen and US debut at fifteen, and collaborating with leading conductors worldwide.
We also feature the premier of Adam Pound’s evocative 2nd Symphony. ‘Pounds’ music ‘seems eternal in its aesthetic style’. John France Music Web international.
The programme includes Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 “Unfinished” and Brahms’ Hungarian Dances Nos. 1 and 3.

Tickets £9-£18 from http://www.adcticketing.com or Great St. Mary’s Shop,
