Lonely The Brave were formed in 2009 in the satellite towns of sleepy Cambridgeshire. After an inauspicious debut in front of just a handful of people, by their third show the room was packed through word of mouth alone and they were already being touted as the first band from the region in many years capable of great things. After putting together, and selling out a run of their first demo, the band recorded a debut EP at the turn of the year with Mark Williams (Biffy Clyro / Million Dead / Yourcodenameis:milo) and will be releasing it physically on October 22nd through their management team’s label, Repeater.
2010 has been a rollercoaster year – seeing the band perform live at BBC’s Maida Vale Studios for Dan P Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show (airing in full next week), sell out numerous shows across the region and win In The City’s songwriter’s award against more than 1000 other applicants. They also played at the launch of Guitar Hero earlier this month with lostprophets and have received plaudits from the likes of Rock Sound, Classic Rock and Total Guitar. All this, without even a record printed up to sell or a single tour under their belts.

Lonely The Brave are now lined up to play The Great Escape early next year. Don’t count against a whole landslide of other small victories for the band before then though, as they head into the studios at the end of the year to record their first full length album.

Lonely The Brave have only ever sent a handful of records out to online and national press, but here are some of the reviews their demo and upcoming EP have received so far:

'Lonely The Brave have an enormous sound... what a single.'
Rock Sound

'Beautiful and atmospherically intense music'
Sonicdice.com

'Stunning'
Stereokill.net

'With an almost undefinable restrained beauty they have created some truly spectacular songs'
Noiseaddiction.co.uk

'Absolutely wonderful'
Tastyfanzine.org.uk

''Backroads’ is indicative of a triumphant future for Lonely The Brave'
Redhotvelvet.co.uk

'Lonely The Brave are on the brink of something big'
Buzzinmusicblog.co.uk

'These guys could go a long way. All the way to Wembley? You never know.'
Gettothefront.co.uk

'Credit for creating emotional and heavy music whilst avoiding the obvious emo pitfalls; they traverse their chosen field with such expertise they sound like a band five albums in. 'Backroads' is surprisingly fantastic but less surprising will be their meteoric climb to success given the right exposure.'

The Judge Reinholds are four boys who were once in other bands but are now in this one. They don't have a Myspace or Facebook yet so you'll have to trust us that they're (very) good. Think Hold Steady/ Brand New/ Springsteen and opthe comparisons above their stature.

Kick up the Fire don't like to tell people about themselves but they do have a myspace
