Have you ever longed to express your creativity but didn’t know where to start? The Spinsters Emporium textiles workshop ‘Haberdasher Me’ is designed to inspire and introduce you to traditional techniques with a vintage/contemporary twist.

Each full day course will be divided into four crafty sections. Learn a variety of techniques such as creative beading patterns, hand embroidery stitches, fabric manipulation methods and appliqué templates. We will show you exciting examples of how these techniques can be applied to personalized garments, home furnishings and gifts.

All abilities welcome from craft virgins to enthusiasts. We will provide you with all the inspiration, examples, mood boards, colour palettes, vintage fabrics, beads, yarns, buttons, trimmings, equipment and instructions needed for the day’s activities.

Spinster's Emporium will be hosting two one-day textile workshops at the New Hall Art Collection, Murray Edwards College Cambridge on July 31st and August 7th.
£99 with lunch included.
