Kid's Club at the Arts Picturehouse

Saturday 3rd July 2010

Venue: Arts Picturehouse
Category: Children & Family
One Liner: Fun & Film!

A Saturday children’s matinee of a recent hit or an old favourite, plus fun activities brought to you by Ladybird Books.

We're also holding a competition for kids to come to the cinema dressed as their favourite fairy tale character. The best dressed kid wins Ladybird Books and a box of fun sized popcorn for the film!

This weeks film is HOODWINKED. An utterly irreverent and hugely enjoyable mixture of classic fairytale stories and hard-bitten police investigation (with healthy doses of humour), HOODWINKED is Little Red Riding Hood turned slightly askew. Glenn Close and James Belushi lend their voices in the film. This impressive, character-based animation maintains an accessibility throughout with wise-cracking dialogue, jokey insider references and a roll call of instantly familiar fairytale figures.

Accompanying adults go free!

Become an annual Kids’ Club member for a small fee, and save money on your ticket every time you visit. Please ask at the Box Office for details.
Please note: parents may leave children over eight alone in screenings but should be aware that the cinema is not providing any official childcare. We do, though, take special precautions for Kids’ Club screenings to provide as safe an environment as possible for younger audiences. These include increased staffing and ensuring that customers over 18 are not permitted to the screening unless they are accompanying a child. If you leave your children in the cinema please be there on time to collect them at the end of the film.
