CLIC Sargent the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity are looking for 100 brave individuals to abseil 80ft down the Fire Tower at Cambridge Firestation, Parkside on Sunday 19th September. Its just £10 to register and all we ask is that you raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship. If you raise over £150 and get a free CLIC Sargent T-shirt.

Every day 10 families are told the devastating news that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years. CLIC Sargent is the only charity offering them care and support, every step of the way.
In Cambridge, CLIC Sargent are currently supporting 93 families and have a team of social workers and nurses who work at Addenbrookes Hospital to support and care for children and young people, and their families, during and after treatment.
The funds raised from these community events make a huge difference to the lives of those children who are battling cancer.
