MARK TEMPLETON
Coming in to Cambridge all the way from Alberta, Canada, Mark Templeton is a master of electro-acoustic composition, fusing electronic drones and artificial soundscapes with organic textures from a variety of so-called “traditional” instruments: guitar, banjo, accordion. Not that any of that technical stuff really matters, when what you’re listening to are some of the most intricate and interesting compositions going. It’s the sound of a crisp Alberta morning; nice and sunny but with a chill in the air. Washes of sound both surrounding and enveloping you, jump-cuts to different scenes, gone as quick as they arrive. It’s going to be a pleasant time.

GLOCKENSPIEL
Using tapes loops and effects-a-plenty, Glockenspiel craft a half-drone, half-krautrock sculpture of sound, insistent beats occasionally poking through the haze. Think like a more blissed-out Hangedup.
