A FORTNIGHTLY FREE SAILING GET TOGETHER ON THE POND, NEAR THE RESTURANT. MEMBERSHIP IS £10/YEAR FOR ADULTS, £5/YEAR FOR JUNIORS...
WE BUILD & SAIL SCALE MODEL BOATS POWERED BY WIND, STEAM & ELECTRIC MOTORS.
NO INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES ARE ALLOWED ON THE WATER, DUE TO NOISE & WATER POLLUTION, & THE WILD FOWL.
THIS IS A HOBBY FOR ALL AGES & ABILITIES.
Building and sailing model boats is great fun and is only as difficult and expensive as you want to make it. The best place to be when you are interested in a hobby is the local specialist club, where freely provided support and assistance are always available. Come and join us. You will be made most welcome.
We are also affiliated to the Model Power Boat Association.
